My husband and I came up with this idea when our dog kept running off from us.  She is friendly; however, doesn’t like to be approached until she is comfortable with you.  Our yard may be posted, but if she gets away, we wanted something that anyone, especially young children would recognize; hence the red stop sign, to prevent someone from reaching down to her and being snapped at or bitten.

 

There is no guarantee that our tag will prevent a bite, or protect you in the case of a bite.  BUT...it will show others that you are trying to warn them.

 

Animals can be very temper mental.  Who knows why they get defensive, but only to protect themselves.  They can’t speak and tell us what’s wrong.  Our hope is that you can prove, if need be, that you tried to let others know that your pet may bite. 

 

It is always a good idea to ensure your pets shots are up-to-date!
